Do you have a passion for intercultural exchange and want to make a meaningful contribution to the current situation? We are looking for dedicated volunteers who would like to help refugees from Ukraine learn the German language and find their way in their new home. Help us build bridges and create opportunities - together for a better future.
Your task is to organize regular meetings with a fixed group of refugees to speak and practice German together. You can not only pass on your language skills, but also facilitate cultural exchange.
This offer is aimed at people of legal age. We would like to have the following from you:
- Enjoyment in helping others learn the German language.
- Basic knowledge of the German language to be able to communicate effectively (level C1 or higher).
- Commitment and reliability to the planned meetings and support sessions.
Flexible from Monday to Friday, in the afternoon. Time and day will be arranged flexibly. Including preparation and follow-up time, approx. 1.5-2 hours/week should be planned.
As Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe, we offer membership in a large community. In addition to very good support and availability of contact persons, we also offer nice premises, a good atmosphere and lived culture of recognition. If you feel addressed and would like to make a meaningful contribution, we look forward to hearing from you.
Voluntary commitment has a long tradition at Johanniter. We welcome anyone who wants to contribute to the common good on a voluntary basis. There is no age limit, as long as the volunteers can deal with the tasks they want to do.More about the organisation
