EMERGENCY HELP for refugees in Max-Liebermann-Str.

In our initial reception facilities we are urgently looking for helping hands to support and care for newly arriving people fleeing from Turkish and Arabic speaking countries. Our initial reception facility is located at Max-Lieberman-Str. 36 b/c.

Your Tasks

You help people who have just arrived in Europe or Germany from Turkey, Syria and other Arabic-speaking countries. Important tasks are, among other things, the distribution to the living areas or sleeping places, supply with food and clothing, help with the language and support of the social work on site.

What's needed

Not much is needed for the tasks. Patience would perhaps be the most important thing. But if you speak another language like English, Arabic or Turkish, that would be very helpful too, of course. :) But if not, it's not a big deal.

Time required

The number of hours per week is nothing fixed. We are glad about every minute of your support. 5 hours is a guideline that is an "up to". If you have any questions always feel free to contact me. :)

The Johanniter are active in refugee work throughout Germany. In the various accommodation models, the care, safety and support of the people after their escape are ensured. The focus is not only on the arrival itself, but above all on their integration into society. The Johanniter want to help people who come to Germany feel welcome here.
