17.11.2024 - Training day in Buch: Planting trees as a group leader in Berlin Buch and/or Wannsee

Together with volunteers from Berlin, we plant seedlings in Bucher Forst and in the Wannsee district. On the former sewage fields around Berlin, which have severely damaged soil, high dryness and low nutrients due to many years of use for sewage, the renaturation of the soil is promoted and trees are planted. As a group leader, you would instruct a group of max. 10 people. You will receive detailed instructions a few days beforehand on the training day.

The planting weeks will then take place from 20.11-24.11.2024 in Buch and from 28.11-1.12.2024 in Wannsee.

Would you like to get to know the work of tree planting and our association better? Then become a group leader for our plantations! We plant with school classes, volunteers and companies. 

We are especially looking for people who can spend one or two days during the week and at the weekend in the planting months of March and November.

It is especially important to plan a day for training. There we prepare the planting field together and learn how to plant trees and lead a group of max. 10 people. 

On the actual planting days with schools and companies, the volunteers are actively supported in planting. Experienced group leaders are always there to answer any questions you may have.

We are happy to welcome new faces and there is a flat rate of 100 euros per day for the group leader, and you are actively campaigning against climate change. Are you interested and curious? What are you waiting for?

You should enjoy being in nature, have fun teaching other people and be able to lend a hand.

Good clothing, preferably weatherproof and always something to drink and eat and a time buffer for the day.

As a rule, the day always goes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., but it can sometimes go a little longer. 

We take care of the rest (such as spades, gloves, waistcoats, walkie talkies for communication and the rest of the organisation).
