About the volunteering opportunity

We are looking for several new volunteers for various activities for our retirement and nursing home in the Ostend neighborhood.

Possible are:

  • Reading aloud
  • Going for a walk
  • Playing board games together
  • Singing or playing a musical instrument

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.

The prerequisite for regular attendance is an extended certificate of good conduct.

There is no fee for applying for the certificate of good conduct.

The assignment time can be individually coordinated depending on the activity, but should take place regularly (at least 1x/month).

The placement follows after an appointment with the volunteer agency.

During your assignment you will be supported by the volunteer agency.

AWO Kreisverband Frankfurt am Main e.V.

The AWO|FFM Volunteer Agency is located in the heart of the city and has been working with a team of 11 people since 2008 with over 500 social work institutions and arranges meaningful volunteer work in cooperation with many actors in the city. You will be informed in detail before your assignment, if necessary trained, insured and always have contact persons on site who will support you.
