About the volunteering opportunity
An 11-year-old student attends a literacy course at a school near Frankfurt-Zoo and needs additional support.
He would benefit greatly from 1to1 support.
Your Tasks
- Editing teaching materials
- Learning the alphabet
- Reading and writing promotion
What's needed
- Fun explaining and working with children
- Patience
A prerequisite for regular attendance at a school is an extended certificate of good conduct from the police.
There is no fee for applying for a certificate of good conduct.
Time required
Meetings can be held in the afternoon at the school.
Important notice
The AWO volunteer agency regularly offers introductory seminars for literacy volunteers. If you have no experience in this field, it is a good idea to take part. If you are interested, please contact us directly!

The AWO|FFM Volunteer Agency is located in the heart of the city and has been working with a team of 11 people since 2008 with over 500 social work institutions and arranges meaningful volunteer work in cooperation with many actors in the city. You will be informed in detail before your assignment, if necessary trained, insured and always have contact persons on site who will support you.
