About the volunteering opportunity
The accommodation for Ukrainian refugees is located directly at bus stop 194 and just a three-minute walk from the Moosfeld U2 underground station. Shopping facilities for the Ukrainians' daily needs are available in Trudering, a few stops away. Older residents of the accommodation would therefore need assistance with shopping and carrying groceries, etc.
Your Tasks
The volunteers accompany a resident and help to carry the shopping.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
In addition to patience, empathy and a good physical condition, knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is very helpful.
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 3 hours per week.
On weekdays, during the day
In consultation with the refugee, you determine the day on which you will help them with grocery shopping, etc.
