Volunteers wanted for one-to-one support at elementary school

The one-to-one childcare team at elementary school has set itself the task of giving children relaxing and enjoyable moments. We play, do handicrafts, romp, laugh and chat together - always based on the child's current needs.

We are currently represented at the following Bonn elementary schools: Bernhardschule, GGS Karlschule and GGS Jahnschule.

45 minutes of supervision time with a specific child at a fixed time during school hours (usually Tuesday-Thursday) plus preparation and brief documentation of the lesson.

Empathy and the ability to deal sensitively with children in difficult situations.
Reliability that the children can rely on.

Further training and pedagogical support are provided by the DKSB Bonn! The full-time employees of the DKSB Bonn are always available as contact persons.

In addition, there are:

1x monthly team meetings (Exchange on working with the children and pedagogical support from the full-time staff and the experience of the entire team)

Supervision 4 times a year, 2 hours each (professional advice on topics and situations arising from working with the children, with the aim of reflecting on one's own actions)
