About the volunteering opportunity
The smartphone is an indispensable tool in many areas of life: whether it's looking for a job or an apartment, applying to the authorities or writing emails, it can be used for many things that are (also) important for refugees. The residents of a refugee shelter in Pasing would be delighted, if you had the time to support and advise them on how they can, for example, set up email accounts and formulate emails well or make better use of other smartphone functions for their everyday life in Germany.
Your Tasks
The idea is to have a smartphone consultation once a week or every 2 weeks for about 3 months. You will be given a room in the accommodation. The residents can come there and get advice/support from you individually or in a small group.

Where?
Diakonie München und Oberbayern - Innere Mission München e.V.
"Die Innere Mission" helps people with a migration background. Whether as first aid for refugees and asylum seekers or through useful offers for migrants already living in Munich with permanent residence. The employees of our social and migration services often know the challenges from their own experience. They know where to start in order to begin a new life in a foreign country.
