About the volunteering opportunity
For our shared accommodation for refugees in Frankfurt, we are looking for a committed volunteer to support our residents in expanding and deepening the language skills they have already acquired. We would like to provide a room here for a twice-weekly course in which everyday things can be discussed in a relaxed atmosphere without creating a school-like atmosphere.
We would like to decide together with you which of our accommodations we can then use you in.
Your Tasks
- Do you want to design this space and take responsibility for it?
- Do you feel addressed and want to help our residents overcome their language barriers?
- Do you have patience and are you able to motivate your participants and keep them on the ball?
What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.

As Johanniter, we help shape our society and offer a home to people who want to help on a voluntary and full-time basis. People who need our support are at the center of our daily activities. Our help is aimed at all people, regardless of religion, nationality or culture. It also applies to those in need of help in mental and psychological stress.
