About the volunteering opportunity
The Diakonie München und Oberbayern volunteer office is looking for volunteers who speak Turkish and would like to support refugees from an Anker branch in Munich.
The residents speak little or no German and would be very happy to receive help
Your Tasks
We are looking for volunteers who speak Turkish and German to accompany refugees from Turkey to appointments. This is not about translating, but about taking people to the appointment.
We are also looking for Turkish-speaking volunteers for conversations, walks or similar to make the residents' stay in the Anker Dependance a little more pleasant and to make them feel welcome.
What's needed
Languages: German and Turkish
Time required
You will receive a message when the appointment takes place and then you can get in touch to see if it suits you.
Important notice
We require an extended police clearance certificate for the job. You can apply for this from us.

The employees of our social and migration services often know the challenges from their own experience. They know where to start in order to begin a new life in a foreign country.
