About the volunteering opportunity

Are you a soccer fan and want to do something good? The shared accommodation for refugees in Lichtenberg is urgently looking for someone to look after our children and young people at soccer matches. It's a simple but important task:

Playing soccer for two hours every Wednesday from 4 to 6 pm directly opposite the accommodation.

No training required, just your enthusiasm! The accommodation is only a 10-minute walk from Hohenschönhausen S-Bahn station. Join in and change lives!

Your Tasks

  • Pick up children at the accommodation on Wednesdays at 15:45
  • Play soccer for two hours (directly opposite the accommodation)
  • Accompany children back

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.

Those involved should have a love of soccer and the ability to build a positive relationship with the children and young people. Formal coaching training is not required, but patience, empathy and a willingness to support different age groups are important.

Time required
