About the volunteering opportunity
With its wide range of over 40 different sports, KSV Baunatal is not only the sports club with the most members in North Hesse, but also a club for EVERYONE. The KSV family with around 8,000 members, including 2,800 children and young people, promotes the fun of exercise in a community and conveys sporting values such as fair play, team spirit and cohesion.
Your Tasks
You are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the indoor and outdoor facilities
- You ensure the proper functioning of the technical systems (heating/ventilation, electricity, plumbing, etc.)
- You are responsible for the timely maintenance and inspection of our systems and for obtaining offers for the implementation of any issues that may be objected to
- You supervise and monitor tradespeople and external companies
- If required, you will provide transportation services and support at events
- You are the contact person for our employees and members in our fitness and course studio
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- You have great manual dexterity
- You have an excellent understanding of building technology
- You like to work independently and structure your work sensibly
- You have good communication skills and a friendly manner
- You keep an overview even in stressful situations
- You are physically resilient, flexible and friendly
- Completed technical training, several years of professional experience as a janitor or a comparable qualification would be advantageous
