About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for a volunteer companion for various activities for Ms. B., a 57-year-old resident of our shared flat "WG Boxhagener Kiez". Ms. B. has Down syndrome and enjoys going for walks, shopping, going to the supermarket and eating ice cream.
Your commitment can help Mrs. B. to enjoy her interests and improve her quality of life by accompanying her to various activities and keeping her company.

Your Tasks
- Regular accompaniment of Mrs. B. on walks, shopping trips, visits to the supermarket and eating ice cream
- Accompanying her to beach days from May onwards and taking part in appropriate activities
- Providing sensitive support and companionship to promote Mrs. B.'s well-being
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with people with Down syndrome
- Willingness to accompany and support Ms. B. in her preferred activities
- Enjoyment of shared outdoor activities such as walks and visits to the beach
- Reliability and flexibility to adapt to Ms. B.'s schedule and participate regularly in activities
Time required
The time varies depending on the activity and agreement with Ms. B.
Important notice
Possibilities for volunteering in the shared flat:
- 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
- Lunch 12:30-3:00 p.m. (not everyone sleeps)
- 3:00-5:00 p.m.
