Lead a sewing course with us!

Learning to sew in Neuperlach? Want to get your sewing machine out again and get support for sewing projects? We would like to continue to make this possible for people and are looking for a new course leader. What happens in the course depends on the interests and possibilities of the course leader! There could be a course or workshops for anyone who wants to learn how to sew and cut, who wants to complete specific sewing projects in a short space of time, e.g. for Christmas or Easter, who wants to learn special techniques or work with special fabrics. Regardless of whether you are a trained seamstress or simply enjoy sitting at the sewing machine in your free time. The length and scope of the sewing course will of course be arranged in consultation with you. We would like to include such a course in the new program (from September 2024).

Your Tasks

As the course leader, you plan the projects in the course independently. You teach the course participants how to use the sewing machine and impart your sewing knowledge.

What's needed

Of course you know how to sew. :) Of course, it is also important to us that you are reliable and treat the course participants with empathy and humor.

Time required

The course offer is always planned according to the time available to the course leader. We can arrange when the rooms are free and when it is convenient for you.

The Neuperlach district office is a meeting point and contact for all families and citizens from Neuperlach. We advise, accompany and support people in personal and financial emergencies and offer help. We also organise courses and various group offers. Interested citizens can volunteer with us in a variety of ways, get to know neighbours, make contacts and network with each other.
