About the volunteering opportunity
Once a week from 4.00 to approx. 5.30 p.m. there is a play afternoon for refugee Ukrainian children in a centrally located accommodation (near Munich Central Station). You coordinate the day of the week (Monday to Friday is possible) with another volunteer. You can organize the afternoons together, i.e. both of you can be present, or cover for each other if one of you is unable to attend from time to time. Regular commitment is important so that the children can adjust.
Your Tasks
Together with another volunteer, you look after the children, play games with them, keep them busy and supervise them. The children love and need exercise. Sometimes things can get a bit "wild", but you can handle that well.
What's needed
Patience, tolerance, enjoyment of childcare, flexibility, intercultural competence, humor, language Ukrainian or Russian.
