About the volunteering opportunity
Doing something meaningful with responsibility, but only if you have time?
In this DRK project, we lend wheelchairs, rollators and crutches for a few days to people who would otherwise find it difficult or impossible to access these aids: Mom is coming to visit for the weekend and can't walk very well... I'm on vacation in Dresden and have broken my foot and need a wheelchair to explore the city, etc.
Your Tasks
You or the rental team will receive a work cell phone to handle all tasks:
- Making appointments to borrow and return items (only if you have time yourself)
- Handing over the rental log after the rental
- Check whether the wheelchair is still ok, if necessary, work some magic to make it work or drive again

If you wish, you can become part of the Red Cross family.You can then take part in our first aid courses or, for example, the Red Cross introductory seminar free of charge and you are of course also invited to the summer party!
