About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for you to provide additional care and activities for our residents. You will take walks in the park, have an open ear and time for conversation, play board games with the senior citizens, read the newspaper or their favorite book, and accompany and support them at parties and events. You can also be involved in housekeeping. You can set the table, prepare small meals, bring food to the residents' rooms, help clear the dishes and carry out small household tasks.
Your support is so valuable for the residents. Many do not receive visits from their relatives.
About our facility: The Pieschen nursing home is located in the Pieschen district of Dresden, north of the River Elbe. The 4-storey home was opened in July 2002. We are a small and informal home. 70 senior citizens are looked after and cared for by our 40 employees.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Time required

Approx. 2 hours per week.
After getting to know each other, you will be permanently assigned to a residential area so that you can feel at home with the team and the residents.

We will discuss the time commitment with you individually. It has to be right for all sides!
