Your Tasks
Overview:
As a board member of the DRK Ortsverein Gamsen e. V., you play a crucial role in the management and organization of the association. You will work closely with other board members to determine the strategic direction of the organization and ensure that all activities are in line with the goals and values of the DRK. This position requires a high level of commitment, organizational skills and teamwork.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Participate in regular board meetings where important decisions about the association are made.
- Participate in the development of long-term goals and strategies for the association.
- Overseeing the various activities of the association and ensuring that they comply with DRK guidelines and standards.
- Coordinating events and projects to promote the association's objectives.
- Representing the association to external partners, authorities and the public.
- Working with other board members and association members to create a positive and productive working environment.
- Assist in the recruitment of new members and volunteers.
- Managing financial resources and budgeting for various activities.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
Commitment to the humanitarian goals and values of the DRK. Organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a team and motivate others.
