About the volunteering opportunity
The German language course already exists. Due to the relocation of the volunteer who previously did it, the Ukrainians would like someone to continue the course. So far, the course has been held weekly on late Wednesday afternoons. The participants attend regularly and are very interested.
Your Tasks
Many Ukrainians attend or have attended an official German course. However, they want to practise regularly in order to learn German more quickly. The aim is to answer the participants' questions, practise vocabulary and cover topics that are relevant to them, e.g. when looking for a job.
What's needed
A very good knowledge of German or German as a native language is important. Intercultural competence, tolerance, patience, open-mindedness and understanding for the situation of refugees make the work much easier.
Time required
The course currently takes place on Wednesday afternoons, but can be moved to another day in consultation with the participants.
Important notice
The accommodation where the Ukrainians live and where the language course takes place is close to Munich Central Station, so it is very easy to get to.Where?

"Die Innere Mission" helps people with a migration background. Whether as first aid for refugees and asylum seekers or through useful offers for migrants already living in Munich with permanent residence. The employees of our social and migration services often know the challenges from their own experience. They know where to start in order to begin a new life in a foreign country.
