About the volunteering opportunity

The accommodation for homeless people in Berlin-Marzahn offers around 160 places for people in social need, especially families and vulnerable women who have been victims of domestic violence and people with mobility restrictions.

To support the full-time childcare team, we are looking for volunteers who have the time and interest to bring joy to children from refugee families and children from homeless families and who would like to offer their own workshop. Ideally, the workshop could take place regularly, e.g. weekly or monthly. But a workshop once or twice a year would also definitely be interesting.
If you have a talent for music, painting, handicrafts, sport, yoga, dancing, baking, plants, chess, reading... please get in touch with us. Any idea is welcome!

We will of course provide the necessary materials.

Your Tasks

You teach the children your passion and do an activity of your choice with the support of the caregiver.
