About the volunteering opportunity

"Abenteuer Seitenwelt - ein Vorleseprojekt zum Mitmachen" is a political education reading project for children of primary school age at an elementary school in Mitte, which takes place as part of after-school care. We are now looking for new committed volunteers!

We have chosen books that implicitly deal with topics such as diversity and want to strengthen society. We would like to read these books to the children and talk to them about them.

Your Tasks

1-2 times a month, on Wednesdays from 4-5 p.m., you read to children from our books in a cozy atmosphere and get into conversation with them.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Enjoy interacting with children of pre-school and primary school age and, of course, reading aloud.
