About the volunteering opportunity
The Data Protection Officer is the central point of contact for the association in all matters relating to data protection. The main task of this person is to ensure compliance with data protection laws and to guarantee the protection of the personal data of our members and partners. In doing so, the data protection officer works closely with the administration and the members.
Your Tasks
- Monitoring compliance with data protection laws.
- Advice and training for employees and members.
- Carrying out data protection impact assessments.
- Processing data protection inquiries.
- Creating and maintaining data protection guidelines and documentation.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Good knowledge of data protection and familiarity with the relevant legal provisions (GDPR, BDSG).
- Reliability, initiative and commitment.
- Ability to coordinate and implement data protection measures within the association.
