About the volunteering opportunity
Every year, the international theater festival Sommerwerft takes place at the Weseler Werft on the banks of the Main in Frankfurt. For 17 days, the riverbank is transformed into a colorful hustle and bustle between theater, performances, music and simply a place to be and enjoy the summer. People of all backgrounds, ages, genders and religions come together to form a community. Become part of the Sommerwerft this year and enrich this year's theme of peace culture with your work!
Your Tasks
The areas of work are varied, from helping at bars, food stalls, cafés, in the silent cinema, VIP tent or admission control. Anyone can help out wherever they want!

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
There are no prerequisites or skills. If you have any, please let us know.
Time required
Once
During the Sommerwerft Festival from 26.07.-11.08.24 we need help from 12 a.m. to 12 p.m. in different shifts of 3-4 hours.
From 21.07.-25.07.24 we need help with assembly and from 12.08.-14.08. for dismantling.

Since 1999, protagon e.V. has been committed to establishing the performing arts in public spaces. We want a free and reflective theater culture for all people and create enriching intercultural encounters for a healthy society. We also organize various international theater festivals in Frankfurt am Main for which we are always looking for volunteers.
