About the volunteering opportunity
We look after people who live in their own home and require assistance. To enable participation, we are always looking for committed people to help us with excursions, shopping trips and other leisure activities.
The man is physically fit and has a wide range of interests. He rarely dares to leave the house and needs support to do so. We are therefore looking for committed people to help him find the courage for new activities. The volunteering hours can be arranged flexibly.
We offer you an expense allowance, insurance and professional guidance.
Your Tasks
- providing regular visits, entertainment and companionship
- actively listening and encouraging the development of new ideas
- Implementing activities outside the home
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
You will need an extended certificate of good conduct for this activity. You will receive a letter from us to apply for this free of charge.

More than 3,300 employees care for with many volunteers per year about 8,000 people in the types of assistance for the elderly, disabled, hearing-language center, youth welfare and addiction help on the basis of the Christian mission statement of the Zieglerschen.
