About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for a volunteer who would like to spend time with Mr. R. (92), a resident of our "Am Plänterwald" nursing home who suffers from dementia, on a regular basis. Mr. R., born in 1932, has a great urge to move and is mainly dependent on a wheelchair. Despite his illness, he is a very kind and easy to manage person.
Would you like to go for regular walks with Mr. R., play cards or join him in a game of "Mensch ärgere dich nicht"?
Your involvement can make a big contribution to his quality of life by providing him with company, exercise and enjoyment in everyday life.
