About the volunteering opportunity

Due to the high demand, we want to expand the low-threshold language courses for refugees in Lünen.

Your Tasks

Once a week, you will lead a low-threshold language course for people who are new to Germany and have little knowledge of German. The offer is deliberately kept low-threshold. On the one hand, this means low barriers for the people who want to take part in the course. However, it also means that you do not need any special previous knowledge or experience in teaching. It is completely sufficient if you enjoy and are willing to work with the target group and have an excellent command of German.

In addition: You are not alone in this project! Our volunteer coordinators will support you at all times, both with the preparation and follow-up as well as with the implementation of the offer - if you wish. We also have an existing team of volunteers with whom you can regularly exchange ideas or with whom you can observe .

We look forward to meeting you!

Where?

Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. Regionalverband Östliches Ruhrgebiet

As Johanniter, we are one of the largest aid organizations in Germany. The help from person to person forms the central motive of our work. We are active in refugee work throughout Germany and support people at eye level after they have fled. We want to help people who come to Germany feel welcome, find their way to a self-determined life, and actively participate in society.
