About the volunteering opportunity
The Summer Festival of Cultures is the largest intercultural festival in southern Germany and will transform Stuttgart's market square into a musical melting pot every summer from July 19 to 24, 2024. In addition to top-class live acts, the festival also offers its visitors an exciting supporting program: food stands with delicacies from all over the world, a raffle with great prizes, offers for children, the popular market of cultures, a photo exhibition in the town hall, a silent disco and beats from Baden-Württemberg make the summer festival a colorful and varied festival for everyone!
Your Tasks
On all six days of the festival, we offer children of all ages a colorful mix of puppet theater, carousel rides, children's radio and play and creative activities. Between Kirchstraße and Schillerplatz they can play, paint, do handicrafts, be creative and let off steam - or just be and relax.
And we need you for that!
Do you enjoy getting children excited and inspiring them with great ideas? Then you've come to the right place!
We are looking for warm-hearted volunteers to ensure that our colorful children's program runs smoothly, that the material is where you are looking for it and, above all, that the children feel invited and welcome. You don't have to take on any legal supervisory duties, but simply ensure a good mood and creative activities.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
Commitment and reliability are the essential requirements that you should bring with you. Pedagogical training is not absolutely necessary, but experience in working with children is definitely an advantage.
