About the volunteering opportunity
Far too many young people still fail at school or on their way to training and a career - and often only because of their background. Differences in family support or available resources continue to be a significant factor in social inequality. The aim of our one-to-one mentoring is to enable the young people taking part to have a successful professional life. To achieve this goal, we present our mentoring directly in the schools and the young people sign up voluntarily. All that is needed now are volunteer mentors like you!
Your Tasks
As a mentor, you accompany your mentee for a year in developing their individual potential and career orientation. During the regular meetings, confidence in your own abilities is strengthened, existing interests are encouraged and an awareness of personal values is created. This demonstrably improves their academic situation and encourages them to think about their professional future. What does it take? Your own experiences, an open ear and a meeting at eye level. You will learn everything else in our digital qualification structure!
