About the volunteering opportunity

On September 7, 2024, we from the citizens' initiative Agora Köln are organizing the "KalkFest meets Day of the Good Life" together with the Kalk district conference. Many streets in Cologne-Kalk will be car-free and belong to the people for a day! Does that sound exciting to you? Then be part of it!
More information about the day of action on 07.09.2024: https://tagdesgutenlebens.koeln/

Your Tasks

We are already looking for volunteers who would like to help us on the day of action and with our preparations.

This is how you can get involved:

  • As a " Jumper", you can get involved in the run-up to the day of action (from now until September, volunteering by individual agreement) and help us to promote the day of action: distribute flyers and posters, publicity work, in the case of multilingualism also in the non-German-speaking community, ...
  • As a "day activist", you can get involved on the day of action itself by taking on a shift at a roadblock, distributing program booklets or informing interested passers-by.

Are you interested? Then register directly at: https://tagdesgutenlebens.koeln/ehrenamt/.
We will provide you with all further information after registration.

Do you have any further questions? Feel free to contact us at: tagdesgutenlebens@agorakoeln.de or here at vostel.de.

Where?

Agora Köln e.V.

The "Festival of Good Living - for free and outside!" (FdGL) on 10.6.2023 serves as the public closing event of the project "The Good Life in the Veedeln" (GLIDV) of the non-profit Agora Köln e.V., funded by the Foundation Environment and Development NRW and the City of Cologne. We present the many different building blocks of the project and initiatives for the Good Life in Cologne that have emerged from it. The program will be rounded off by discussion rounds, street music, workshops, information booths and a bring-your-own-buffet. The festival is intended to be a space of openness and inclusion, where everyone is welcome.
