About the volunteering opportunity
Again and again, we find that people who come to Germany for the first time have good qualifications and previous professional experience, but are not familiar with the common Office programs (especially Microsoft Word and/or Excel). However, knowledge of these programs is necessary for many professions - or even just for creating a CV or application letter. We are therefore looking for a volunteer who - also in cooperation with our full-time team - can offer basic training in the use of Microsoft Word and/or Excel!
Your Tasks
Together with our full-time team, you would develop a low-threshold training course for refugees in the Microsoft Word and/or Excel programs and conduct it with the people on site.
Please do not shy away from the work - the training does not have to be professional and should only provide basic knowledge.
Training courses on CV preparation or similar would also be conceivable. You are always welcome to bring your own ideas!

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
Social skills, basic knowledge of German and/or one of the target languages, good knowledge of Microsoft Word and/or Excel.
Time required
Once
The training courses can take place only once or - if desired - on a regular basis. We are very flexible!

We are active in refugee work throughout Germany and support people at eye level after they have fled. We want to help people who come to Germany feel welcome, find their way to a self-determined life, and actively participate in society.
