About the volunteering opportunity

The Kinderhaus Tom Sawyer Zehlendorf is looking for volunteers who would like to play soccer with children. In our bilingual German-English daycare center, the children not only enjoy learning, but also sports and exercise. About 10 children aged 4 to 5 years, possibly younger, are waiting to play soccer with you for an hour.

You don't have to be a sports coach - if you like sports and enjoy spending time with children, you are exactly the right person for us! Our staff are always on hand to support you. A goal and a ball are available, what we still need is you: a motivated person who enjoys playing with the children.

It is possible for you to get involved even if you don't speak German, as long as you speak English, as our daycare center is bilingual .

Your Tasks

  • Playing soccer with the children.
  • Promoting the children's motor skills and team spirit.
  • Creating a fun and safe soccer game for the children.
