About the volunteering opportunity
The residents of our accommodation have only been in Berlin for a few days or weeks. In order to get to the doctor or public offices, they usually have to travel a long distance and change trains several times. For many people (especially single parents, older people, people with disabilities, etc.), this in itself is a major challenge. These people would like to be accompanied to their appointments, whether by public transport or by car.
Your Tasks
Accompanying refugees to the authorities.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- Foreign language skills are of course very welcome but not a prerequisite
- Worldview appreciative and respectful attitude towards refugees
- Driving license: desirable
