About the volunteering opportunity
An offer from MIT-MENSCH e.V.:
Do you know how people in wheelchairs dance? Are you wondering whether this is even possible and whether wheelchair users and pedestrians can dance together? At the MIT-MENSCH e.V. association's hands-on event, you can dance along under expert guidance and get to know us. We even teach different dance styles, from Latin to standard to show dancing.
MIT-MENSCH e.V. supports and cares for people with sensory and physical disabilities, as well as the elderly and people in need of help. The non-profit association is also the organizer of the wheelchair dance festival "Dance Days Berlin", which takes place regularly and is planned again for 2025.
No previous experience is required for this participatory event. The only requirement is to have fun and enjoy the music and movement. Dance shoes with high heels can stay in the closet. Instead, sneakers are required.
Dance enthusiasts who want to try something new should not hesitate! It's great when feet and wheels move to the same beat and the dancers become one with the music!

There is a weekly training session on Mondays in the sports hall of the Carl-von-Linné-Schule (Paul-Junius-Str. 15, 10367 Berlin) from 6 to 8 pm.
