About the volunteering opportunity
Around 106 billion cigarettes are smoked in Germany every year. Around 2/3 of these cigarettes are carelessly discarded and end up on the street or in the countryside. But butts are very harmful to people, animals and the environment.
Together with Nachbarschaftshilfe Steglitz-Zehlendorf, we would like to campaign for a cleaner environment and are organizing a themed clean-up with an information campaign on the consequences of cigarette butts for people, animals and nature.
Your Tasks
Distribute information about cigarette butts to people passing by and approach them.
Collect cigarette butts around the neighborhood help center.

For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
Interest in environmental issues and a desire to talk to people passing by or collect butts.
