Information about the request

Description

We rely on your help to strengthen our volunteers in the best possible way and to promote their commitment. We regularly organize events where volunteers can gain qualifications and network with each other. These events are essential in order to provide volunteers with the necessary knowledge and tools for their demanding work. We ask for your support so that we can continue to make these events possible.

Whether you donate financially or in kind - every contribution helps us to create good framework conditions and to make our offers effective and humane.

Your donation works:
  • Enable workshops for a network of 45,000 volunteers
  • Provide equipment for specialist days
  • Strengthen support for people in emergency situations

What you can donate:
  • Monetary donations
  • Writing materials
  • Bags & materials for events
  • Small gifts as a thank you for volunteers
Help now - and we'll say thank you too

We thank you for your support with a personal mention in our association communication - and with great appreciation for your commitment.

About the Non-Profit Organisation

Caritas-Konferenzen Deutschlands e.V.

The Caritas Conferences of Germany (CKD) unite 45,000 volunteers throughout Germany and are the sponsor of the BAG Catholic Hospital Aid with 145 groups. They provide essential help for elderly, lonely or economically disadvantaged people and for refugees. With their low-threshold, community-based approach, they respond flexibly to social challenges.

The CKD empowers people in difficult life situations by providing help, support and social participation. Their work is based on humanity, practical support and self-help.

As a nationally networked Caritas association, the CKD operates according to the principle of participatory self-representation: volunteers manage the association, supported by full-time professionals.
