We are always looking for new, motivated, voluntary and committed travel companions. Social commitment and the ability to work in a team are very important to us: Together with other team members, you will look after the participants and design the travel program. During the entire trip, our experienced tour guide will be at your side.
Most important are fun, joy and motivation in dealing with people with disabilities. The willingness to support them in their everyday life should be a matter of course!
Otherwise: Be at least 18 years old, have no fear of contact.
You will learn everything else on our training courses and on your trips.
The costs for your accommodation and meals during the trip will be covered by the association. In addition, you will receive an expense allowance and you can have the activity credited as an internship for your studies, school or similar.
The aim of the organisation is to enable people with disabilities to enjoy a self-determined holiday with the help of the travel companions. The volunteers are prepared for their assignments through the internal training program of FoB, so they learn how to work with and in the group in our three-day seminar, the basic training. In the basic training, topics from the areas of care, animation and law are taught. In addition to its active involvement, FoB is also active on a political level and campaigns in various projects for a more inclusive society and the right to self-determined leisure activities.
especially to enable people with disabilities to have a self-determined and unforgettable holiday.
