About the volunteering opportunity

We are constantly looking for new, motivated, voluntary and committed travel companions. With our association Freizeit ohne Barrieren e.V.( Leisure without barriers) we support people with disabilities to organise their holidays and leisure time in a self-determined way. As a team leader you travel with children, young people or adults with a disability throughout Europe. You will travel in a group, with an experienced tour guide on hand to give you advice and support.

Your Tasks

Social commitment and the ability to work in a team are very important to us: Together with other team members, you will look after the participants and design the travel program.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.

Most important are fun, joy and motivation in dealing with people with disabilities. The willingness to support them in their everyday life should be a matter of course!
Otherwise: Be at least 18 years old, have no fear of contact.
You will learn everything else on our training courses and on your trips

The costs for your accommodation and meals during the trip will be covered by the association. In addition, you will receive an expense allowance and the activity can be credited as an internship for your studies, school or similar.

You can get involved as a project-based tour guide on a trip, but you are also welcome to work regularly as a travel companion in our association. We will clarify these details individually.
