Kontaktstelle PflegeEngagement Marzahn-Hellersdorf
We support social commitment, self-help and neigbourhood initiatives in the area of home care. Most of the people, even people who are in need of care, want to be independent and live in their familiar surroundings. To enable this, the contact centre PflegeEngagement supports people in need of care of all ages and lighten the load of family carers and lonely elderly people living alone. These people are connected with people open to help and volunteer. The most important tasks and targets are improving the living situation of people in need of care, strengthen volunteering structures and reinforce self-help as well as cooperate with the different stakeholders like family members, care facilities and care services.
