Solidarische Landwirtschaft (SoLaWi) Heilbronn, founded in 2019, offers a wide range of work assignments.
  • Type of work: Activities include light foliage work in the vineyard, weed control, harvesting fruit and vegetables depending on the season and anything else that needs doing. In the large hall (Lernort Bauernhof) there are common rooms, a workshop and the volunteer kitchen. The volunteers and we take it in turns to ensure that the lunch buffet is prepared every day at 1 pm. Non-violent communication and active listening (i.e. paraphrasing in your own words) are important to us when agreeing on work tasks. So that you always know in advance what to expect here each day, we do a short planning team every day, including for the next day. You can sleep in with us. However, if there is a heatwave, we start very early and then take a long lunch break. Here we are a place of learning on the farm (www.lob-bw.de), where we take part in activities with school classes as an extracurricular place of learning. (e.g. from apple to apple orchard, etc.).
