Growunited was founded in 2021 with the vision of bringing people from different backgrounds together. Today, we are a group of motivated individuals with diverse and unique backgrounds, each with their own skills and interests. Together, we develop and implement projects that we believe can contribute to positive change in the world and realize our vision of an inclusive, just and sustainable future.

Target group(s)
We mainly work on a project basis and therefore with many different target groups, depending on the focus of the respective project.
- Young people: The focus is primarily on young people, whom we specifically encourage to become actively involved in democratic processes and help shape their own future.
- Social and youth workers: We work with professionals and offer further training opportunities for those who want to actively bring about change.
- Marginalized groups: In addition, we are committed to the integration of marginalized groups, such as refugees, people with a migration background, queer communities and other disadvantaged population groups.
- Intergenerational exchange also plays a central role in some of our projects, as it promotes dialog between different age groups and strengthens mutual understanding.
- Changemakers: We form a network of people with social commitment and shared values who not only dream of a better future, but who also help to shape their own environment!

Funding
We are mainly financed by funding from foundations and institutions such as Erasmus+.
Objectives
- Cooperate with other organizations at local, EU and international level and implement joint projects. These projects pursue the following goals, for example:
- Conscious consumption and sustainable fashion (no label project)
- Promoting mental health
- Creating non-formal education spaces
- Integration of marginalized social groups
- An integrated approach involving civil society, politics, aid organizations and young people.
- Creating places where different people meet, dream and have the opportunity to contribute
- Shaping a stronger, more sustainable and inclusive society through concepts such as artivism, doughnut economics and soft power
Growunited has proudly been part of the MasterPeace network since May 2017 and has implemented projects in the areas of intercultural communication, migration, integration and quality education. The Masterpeace network is a grassroots movement of over 60 NGOs in 45 countries with the mission to "mobilize, inspire and connect talent for a sustainable and less conflictual future".
