youngcaritas is the platform of the Caritas associations for the social commitment of young people between the ages of 13 and 31. In Essen, youngcaritas is involved in various school and extracurricular projects for justice & social coexistence, sustainability & climate protection and diversity & tolerance. You can simply take part in existing projects or we can start a new project together.
Whether weekly, monthly or just once - you are flexible in terms of time for your volunteer work.

We want to raise interest in social and ecological issues and support voluntary work in this area.

Senior citizens on how to use smartphones (smartphone consultation hour), fun and games activities for children (e.g. Essen Original, World Children's Day), low-threshold educational work in the area of sustainability (e.g. at the Climate Festival, planting campaigns) and much more.
