Neues Kammerorchester Berlin e. V.
The Neues Kammerorchester Berlin (NKB) e.V. is a progressive orchestral platform dedicated to redefining the cultural landscape by championing female conductors and empowering young emerging musicians. Through high-level performances, inclusive community ensembles, school education programs, and 'Classical Revolution' open-mic sessions, the association breaks down systemic barriers to make high-quality classical music accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or financial means.

Objectives
1. Promoting Gender Equality & Female Leadership
To actively close the gender gap in classical music by providing female conductors with a high-level orchestral platform and "safe space" to lead, develop, and gain visibility within the industry.
2. Empowering the Next Generation of Musicians
To act as a professional bridge for young emerging musicians and diverse musical leaders, offering them opportunities to perform at a professional level and build sustainable careers in the cultural landscape.
3. Democratic Access to High-Quality Music
To remove socio-economic barriers to classical music through initiatives like "Classical Revolution" (open-mic sessions) and free performances, ensuring that high-quality culture is accessible to all, regardless of their financial means.
4. Cultural Education & Social Integration
To foster community through music by:
Introducing students in public schools to instruments and musical roles.
Building a non-auditioned community orchestra and choir where amateurs play alongside professionals.
Providing free music lessons for refugees and homeless youth to support social inclusion and personal development.
The primary objective of the NKB e.V. is to transform the orchestral landscape into a more inclusive and equitable space. We aim to combine excellence in performance with a deep social commitment, ensuring that orchestral music serves as a tool for both professional leadership development and community-wide social integration.
