The CORRECTIV.Faktenforum is the first German-language fact-checking community in which volunteers work together with journalists to research and classify possible false claims. They collect, check and document sources on a digital platform in order to categorize disinformation in an understandable way and make it publicly accessible.

Target group(s)
The CORRECTIV.Faktenforum is a place for everyone who wants to actively combat disinformation together. It brings together people from a wide range of backgrounds to stop the spread of misinformation through collaborative fact-checking. You don't need any special prior knowledge, but bring experience and knowledge from your everyday life that complement each other in the community. We regularly offer free workshops and learning content in which you can acquire relevant knowledge and skills relating to fact-checking and research.

CORRECTIV is committed to disclosing its funding and organizational structure - this also applies to the Fact Forum. The project emerged from the scientific project network noFake, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) from 2022 to 2025. Since then, CORRECTIV has been running the facts forum independently and has won the Google.org Impact Challenge Europe, among others, with the project. Objectives
The CORRECTIV.fact check forum is the first German-language fact check community. Registered community members research possible false claims from social networks, videos, websites or blogs with the support of the CORRECTIV.fact check editorial team. We publish the results on our website. The Fact Forum also offers workshops and learning opportunities on fact checks, research methods and disinformation.
