G.I.S. Bonn e.V. uses creative educational, environmental and hands-on projects to promote equal opportunities and social participation for children and young people in Bonn. Through workshops, school collaborations and vacation activities, we create spaces for learning, community and active participation.

Target group(s)
We work with children and young people from very different walks of life - especially young people from disadvantaged or immigrant families. Together with parents, educational institutions and civil society partners, we create spaces for encounters, equal opportunities, intercultural exchange and social cohesion.

Funding
Our work is primarily supported by donations, funding and project grants. At the same time, voluntary work and cooperation with public and civil society partners are an important part of our ability to implement our projects.
Objectives
Our aim is to give children and young people access to education, community and active social participation - regardless of their background or life situation. We promote equal opportunities, intercultural understanding, democratic skills and the development of individual strengths through practical activities.
