Open afternoon in the Monzi nature area - discover nature and get creative with children

For our open afternoon in the Monzi nature area, we are looking for committed people who would like to help children and young people discover nature through play and become creatively active. Together we observe natural phenomena, create with natural materials, do arts and crafts, garden as part of urban gardening and create space for play, exercise and community.

The Monzi nature space is a lively place to learn and meet, where young people can try out the outdoors, help shape it and discover their own strengths. You will help to create an open and appreciative atmosphere, assist with individual activities and be a reliable contact person on site. You don't need any previous experience - what's important is openness, enjoyment of working together and a desire for practical outdoor activities.

As a volunteer, you will support our team in organizing and accompanying the open afternoon in the Monzi nature area. This includes accompanying children and young people in nature observations, creative activities, small craft activities, urban gardening and games. You will also help to create an open and appreciative atmosphere, prepare materials, assist with set-up and dismantling and, if necessary, help to organize individual activities.

Above all, openness, reliability and enjoyment of working with children and young people are important. You don't need to have any particular previous experience - but an interest in nature, creative activities, gardening or crafts and a willingness to be active outdoors and help create an appreciative atmosphere are helpful.

The commitment takes place once a week for approx. 3 hours. It would be nice if you could attend as regularly as possible so that the children and young people have a reliable contact person - at the same time, we try to respond flexibly to personal situations as far as we can.

The most important thing is that you are reliable, treat children, young people and the team with respect and enjoy working together openly. As we are active outdoors, please bring weather-appropriate clothing and a willingness to lend a hand with practical nature and gardening activities.
