Sprachmut
Sprachmut is a free community for international residents and expats in Freiburg that encourages people to speak German through fun, social, and community-oriented activities. Weekly events—such as game nights, language cafés, KüFas, and other social gatherings—focus on casual conversation without any pressure.

All German learners in Freiburg, from complete beginners to B2+ level. In short: anyone who wants to speak more German in everyday life and is looking for a relaxed, motivating, and social environment to do so.

Funding
Sprachmut is currently run entirely by volunteers and is free for participants. Rooms are provided by partner organisations such as Zusammen Leben e.V.; in the medium term we plan to apply for public funding to support coordination and volunteer expense allowances.
Objectives
Our goal is to make speaking a habit: small, regular groups where German learners can start speaking without pressure or the need to be corrected, and where genuine connections are formed in the process.
