Senckenberg Naturmuseum Dresden

The Senckenberg Society for Natural History (SGN) is an association with legal capacity pursuant to Section 22 of the German Civil Code (BGB), which was granted the rights of a legal entity on August 17, 1867, by decree of the sovereign ruler. Pursuant to § 13 of the bylaws, the Society is represented in and out of court within the meaning of § 26 BGB by two members of the Executive Board, one of whom must be the Director General or the Administrative Director.
