Nyendo is Swahili and means movement - and YOU can be nyendo too.

Nyendo turns students into entrepreneurs. We help them to realise their own projects, to generate profits and to do good with it. Because the proceeds go to their partner school in Africa. In this way, the students gain (world) economic knowledge, entrepreneurial know-how and learn to think globally.

Target group(s)

The nyendo.lernen network invites young people of school age (secondary school) to become social entrepreneurs. Young people feel that the world is changing and want to participate in shaping a fairer world. Nyendo offers an opportunity to do this. In the slum of Nairobi, projects are initiated and carried out, such as an IT center for the necessary digital education or projects for "Vertical Farming" and much more.

The students from Europe always have direct contact with young people in Nairobi, so that a mutual learning and exchange is possible.

The nyendo.lernen hand in hand UG offers the schools the appropriate learning and action framework through its network. Thus it creates an interdisciplinary educational offer for social entrepreneurship, global development cooperation and intercultural dialogue.
