About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for support in the work of the institute. You would take care of organizational tasks around the student companies, so the workload will fluctuate a bit. At the beginning of the school year there will be a bit more to do than during the rest of the school year.
Your Tasks
- At the beginning of the school year, you put together a starterkid for the schools, collect registration forms and update the contact details of the students, contact the project travelers and provide them with the necessary information.
- Until the fall vacations, you collect the registrations for our retreat and manage and transfer all upcoming dates in the annual calendar (company meetings, online conferences, rally dates, student company events, trips, visits).
- At the end of the year you issue certificates for the students.
- In addition, you regularly have the concerns of the students in mind, phone them or visit them directly on site, you get feedback and have an overview of the PR material from Kenya.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- You want to be socially engaged and can identify with nyendo's concerns and values: a confident rethinking of schooling combined with global bridge-building at eye level
- You are open to students' concerns, have good communication skills and are well organized

The "nyendo.lernen hand in hand gUG" is a non-profit Munich-based organization that enables students to help shape our world in a fair, sustainable and self-confident way through entrepreneurship. Our participants go through a multi-year, multi-faceted entrepreneurship education program and work - coached by experienced mentors - in real student companies. The money generated from this ultimately benefits 100% of our partner schools in Kenya and enables sustainable development projects there. But that's not all: Over the entire duration of the program, nyendo links the young people in Germany and Kenya both virtually and in real life, thus also enabling an appreciative cultural exchange as well as joint learning at eye level.
