Objectives
The full-time team supports the people living here as best they can in building an independent life in Germany. The support provided by volunteers in various areas is a valuable and indispensable addition to the task of enabling adults, young people and children to enter the social environment and settle into their new home.
Your support helps
- To make it easier for refugees to find their way around Berlin and feel increasingly at home
- To support refugees with integration and inclusion
- to enable increasing participation for refugees who still have little social assertiveness when they arrive.
- To help parents who have yet to arrive and have numerous hurdles to overcome in caring for their children
- Helping homeless people with visits to the authorities and doctors and with leisure activities
- to promote respectful and peaceful exchange between different cultures
- to help you get to know new cultures and "think outside the box"
